In 2013-2014, I Love Foundation, with Joi Barua, safeguarded Thar's cultural heritage through an innovative program. Empowering marginalized gypsy musicians, the initiative reinvented traditional art forms, resulting in a music album showcased at INK Salon Jaisalmer, connecting tradition with contemporary international audiences.
The I Love Foundation (TILF) has launched a groundbreaking incubator program in the Thar region. This program is dedicated to harnessing the untapped potential of gypsy musicians in an area known for its vibrant musical traditions. TILF's visionary project aims to bridge the divide between these exceptionally talented craftsmen and the opportunities and resources that are more readily available to their modern, international counterparts.
By fostering an exchange of techniques and perspectives, TILF is facilitating the reinvention of traditional art forms, making them relevant to contemporary international audiences.
